TIE 90:Shooting began in 2014.

This Is England ’90 began shooting on Sept. 6th 2014. ShaneMeadows.co.uk announced via Twitter that the show would begin filming “in September in and around Sheffield. 

TIE ’90 was originally due to air on Channel 4 in late 2012 but production was put on hold when Meadows started work on his documentary Made Of Stone about the reunion of The Stone Roses. 

As well as Turgoose, regulars Vicky McClure and Joe Gilgun, Andrew Shim (aka Milky) returned to the series. 

TIE 90 will look at RAVE CULTURE and THE 1990 FIFA WORLD CUP held in Italy. Apparently, it will follow SHAUN,KELLY, TREV and GADGET who are involved in the Rave scene. Woody and Milky have opened a scooter shop. Guess there will be references to THE STONE ROSES and all that had to do with the Rave Culture and Acid House Clubs as well as the Casual scene in the late 1980s.

TIE 90 will be aired September 13 at 9 pm on channel 4!!!
