In an interview with Digital Spy, Vicky McClure aka Lol discussed TIE 90 and how much she loved that series.

McClure said: "If they'd filmed my reaction when we shot the last scene in This is England, it's quite embarrasing cos I cried my eyes out. This is England has got a very special place in my heart. I loved playing Lol. It's a powerhouse of a show this year. There's so much going on. All the characters are back. All on amazing form." and added "I think it was the right time for Shane to wrap it up. We were always going on to 90 so it felt natural for Shane."

In other news, TIE 90 will look at rave culture and ITALIA 90.
