The band will be celebrating 30 years of the legendary album

Brazilian media have confirmed that U2 will play Brazil and also Argentina in October this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic album ‘The Joshua Tree’ – with support - once again - from Noel Gallagher.

Dates and ticket details have not been announced yet but apparently details will be revealed within days.

Noel Gallagher will support U2 at Estadio Unico de La Plata in Buenos Aires the same venue where The Who will play for the first time in the country.
