This Is England '90 is to premiere its first episode at The Guardian's Edinburgh International Television Festival in August. The final TV offshoot of This Is England will be presented at a screening by director Shane Meadows.

It is still unkown when Channel 4 will air the miniseries but apparently it will be aired in this autumn September/October in the UK.

It was also announced today that comedian Frankie Boyle will be hosting the Edinburgh TV Awards as part of the festival.

TIE 90 will look at rave culture and Italia 90.
