Fans of rockers The Stone Roses created their own record by downing 500,000 pints at four gigs. Bars at Manchester City's 60,000-seater Etihad Stadium sold twice as many pints as at Coldplay nd AC/DC shows. A source said: "They were amazed how much booze was put away."
