Former Man United footballer David Beckham attended The Stone Roses' hometown gig last night (June 15) at Etihad Stadium. He was also photographed backstage with the band next to his son Brokklyn and he even had a song dedicated to him.
Stone Roses played the first of their four shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. The band will play three additional shows on Friday (June 17), Saturday (June 18) and Sunday (June 19).
Ian Brown and Mani are both United fans so before playing 'This Is The One', Brown said the crowd, "This one is dedicated to Mr Beckham". Beckham then posted the video to his Instagram account writing in the caption: "Wow I have no words.... Unbelievable night on Manchester with the boys". Watch the video below.
