The Libertines will play new tracks.

Carl Barat has said The Libertines will be "a lot more cohesive" when they headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals this year and that the audience can expect new songs that will "hopefully make them cry".

Reagrading the new songs, Barât said: "I'm delighted with the new songs we've got so far, I was literally just listening to them, they're belters. I'm excited. There's a lot of energy and jumping up and down and going fucking mental as much as The Libertines ever have inspired in people. There are some pretty emotional bits as well that will probably make  me a little teary."

In other news, Pete Doherty has shared his Amy Winehouse tribute single 'Flags Of The Old Regime'.The track was written by The Libertines frontman for the late Winehouse, with all proceeds of the single going towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The track will be officially released on March 9.
