The Last Shadow Puppets, have "finished" work on their second album, according to their drummer and producer James Ford.
Rumours recently circulated that the band were working on a follow-up to 2008 debut 'The Age Of The Understatement', with Simian Mobile Disco's Ford now seemingly confirming the news in an interview with Chilean music site Rock & Pop.
"This year, I’ve just done a Last Shadow Puppets record, which is the guy from Arctic Monkeys and Miles," Ford said. "So we did the follow-up album to that. That’s the last thing I did."
He also continued to confirm that the album is finished and will "be out next year sometime".
