Great news for fans of The Last Shadow Puppets - a new album is on its way as we had anticipated. The band have confirmed that their second record will be on its way next year with a mysterious teaser trailer.

The new Super 8 film was posted on the band's Facebook and official website with the caption 'Spring 2016'. Made up of footage of the band larking around the studio, there's little for a taste of new material bar the mumbling of potential lyrics and the ringing of some menacing chords - ending on Artic Monkeys' Alex Turner signing off with his Northern drawl "right, what needs doing?"

Fingers crossed for the announcement of a tour soon, with some new tracks alongside modern classics from The Age Of Understatement.
