Apparently Alex Turner and Miles Kane are working on a new Last Shadow Puppets album expected to drop early next year according to US fansite Arctic  Monkeys US. It 's worth pointing out that no official announcement has been made yet but some sources on the internet have said the information is legit.

Well now there's more amazing news for The Last Shadow Puppets fans as Owen Pallett, who arranged strings on Last Shadow Puppets' debut, tweeted a strong hint that not only was progress on a new record well underway but has just reached 'classic status'.

In a way it makes sense since Matt is going to be a dad and he would like to spend time with his kid. There is not going to be a new AM album before 2016 or 2017 and Miles has been hanging out with Alex quite a lot lately.

We will see if the rumours finally materialise and Alex and Miles finally put a new album out. Their record 'The Age of the Understatement' was released back in 2008.
