Ready for some bittersweet symphonies? The Verve founder and lead singer Richard Ashcroft has been added to the bill at Mexico's largest festival, Corona Capital to be held in Mexico City November 21 and 22 joining the likes of The Libertines, Primal Scream, The Charlatans and other UK and international bands to Mexico's biggest festival.

Being guest at Party in the Park in Dubai back in 2014, the former Verve's frontman has not performed live since then. There were rumours of a new solo record but nothing has been announced yet. Ashcroft will perform his own songs as well as  some Verve's classics for sure. If you've never been to Mexico, it might be worth going there at the end of November then.
This is really good news as it might mean Ashcroft is ready to make a full comeback. Time will tell. We've missed him. Music misses him.

In other news, Noel Gallagher said he'd like to record with Richard Ashcroft.
