In an interview with Tim Cocker on Virgin Radio takeover, Richard Ashcroft talked about wearing his own merch and touring the iconic Boca Juniors stadium.
"I know they say 'never wear your own merch' but when you wrote one of the greatest lines of all time, I'm wearing it. I wore this in Argentina. I got a guided tour of Boca Juniors and I saw where Maradona played. I looked at the dressing room. There's some wasteland down there and we did this photograph of me with this t shirt. This just seemed to really fit that environment.I rarely do that but I really like this one."
