In an interview with Strand bookstore, John Lydon revealed that his band PIL (Public Image Limited) will start touring in October, November this year and he also confirmed the band were working on a new album.

As we anticipatesd a few weeks ago Pil, the band led by John Lydon have a new album out "What The World Needs Now" and the tracklisting has been revealed. You can read the tracklisting below. The band also announced a UK tour date. The album is scheduled to be released on September 4.

The band last released their ninth studio album " This is PIL" in 2012. Lydon, however, did not divulge any details about PIL's forthcoming album but just joked that it would be called "What the world needs now . . . ". But basically, he was there to talk about his autobiography "Anger Is An Energy".

In other news, John Lydon is not a fan of The Clash.
