In an interview for the upcoming issue of Uncut Magazine, Paul Weller spoke of what he wants to leave behind.

'I'd like to leave behind a legacy, a body of work I can be proud of. It's not all great but a lot of it is. I'm excited when i play gigs and see kids who know all the words to 'Town Called Malice', kids who weren't born at the time. In fact, many of them weren't even born when Wild Wood came out. These songs take a life of their own, don't they?They are public property. I like that."
