Having attended every Party At The Palace (#PATP) since it was launched, it has been great to see the festival evolve and grow and it is now hard to imagine a summer without this weekend in my diary. Once again the organisers did an incredible job in attracting a number of terrific acts to Linlithgow over the weekend including the Lightning Seeds, Ash, Kaiser Chiefs, Dodgy and Razorlight. The ‘Party’ has also did a great job retaining the Scottish heritage evident in the line-ups since the inaugural party with Stevie McCrorie, BMX Bandits, Hipsway and Sunday headliner Amy MacDonald providing some of the memorable highlights this year.
Glen’s Vodka took over the main sponsorship as the family friendly festival celebrated its fourth year whilst the Scottish Sun newspaper also joined the party and sponsored a Break-Out Stage over the weekend and with the rain staying off and the sun coming out at various times it once again made for a weekend of outstanding entertainment.
