Noel Gallagher has teased plans to record an album of lost Oasis songs – without brother Liam. The 53-year-old is set to get back into the studio to re-record 14 tracks that never made it onto any of the group’s seven records.
Speaking about the release, the Wonderwall star revealed it has been ‘very interesting’ going back over their old material. Appearing on Matt Morgan’s Funny How? podcast, he said: ‘I’ve listed the proper songs and there were 14.
‘They just fell by the wayside of various projects from down the years. ‘I’m going to record them. Some are quite old school.
‘I was looking at the track listing and thinking, “Actually, f***ing hell, no I’d approach that song differently”. ‘It’s been very interesting.’
So what do you think? Looking forward to it?
