In an interview with The Daily Star, Noel Gallagher just confirmed what we anticipated before. He is ready to work with Damon Albarn. A few weeks ago we did an exclusive interview with Noel Gallagher and he said Albarn might collaborate with him (Watch here) and he might even play in one track. Well now Noel Gallagher has said to the Daily Star that he is ready to work on the new Gorillaz album.

Noel said:  “ Well he’s making a new Gorillaz album and he’s got my number, so he only has to ask. There is talk of doing something, but I’m not sure what it is.”

“You can bet your life, the minute I finish this tour he’ll go out on his. I mean trying to get the two of us in the same room, would be a ******* miracle. But I’m certainly open to the idea for sure.”

Gorillaz have featured Snoop Dogg and Shaun Ryder over the years, and the new album so far it includes Jean Michel-Jarre and Liam Bailey. But Damon isn’t the only one on Noel’s hitlist. He explained: “I’d love to write a song for Morrissey. “That would be fantastic and ******* beautiful. I’d also love to sing a song with Johnny Marr. That’d be great.”
