Noel Gallagher has once again dismissed rumours of an Oasis reunion, saying, "It's not going to happen. I can't be arsed."

The singer's interview with Alan Carr on Channel 4's Chatty Man is set to air tonight (1 May). In the interview, filmed earlier in the week, Carr suggested Gallagher's High Flying Birds should team up with brother Liam's Beady Eye to create BirdsEye. "As enticing as that sounds," replied Noel, "I don't think it's going to happen. Sorry."

When asked about the possibility of an Oasis reunion, speculation fuelled by reports in The Sun and other publications, Gallagher said, "I've got nothing more to say on it that I haven't already said. It's not to happen. No, I can't be arsed."

The band split in 2009 after tensions between the brothers. They've since made peace, but consistently denied rumours that they're set to reform their former band.

In other news, Noel Gallagher says no one wants to be in a band any more.
