In an interview with Radio 105 Milan, Noel Gallagher talked about his musical career and his ambitions when he was growing up.

"I never expected all this when I was a teenager. I mean I loved music obviously. I didn't really learn the guitar properly until I was like a late teenager. There was one at home but I never really think I would end up being this and never really studied it very well. One day it all fell into place and the Inspiral Carpets asked me to be one of their roadies and I thought "Oh well This is great, I'll be in the music business but behind the scenes. And that would have been enough for me at the time. Then Liam asked me to join the band and it was ok for a bit and I didn't have any great ambitions until I wrote Live Forever and I thought "This is great!" and I started to catch lots of great great songs andf thought "Now I wanna be famous!"."

Referring to what time of day he writes his songs, former Oasis said: "Well the early Oasis stuff, I wrote most of those songs in the middle of the night ... drunk and the older you get, the more relaxed you get. i usually write the songs now watching tv with the sound down and playing the guitar."

Finally, Noel Gallagher confirmed his third album is underway.
