Liam Fray, Liam Gallagher and Johnny Marr pay tribute to Manchester victims

The Courteeners‘ frontman Liam Fray, Liam Gallagher, Johnny Marr and many more paid tribute after the terrorist attack which took place in Manchester last night.

Courteener's frontman shared a heartfelt tribute to his hometown of Manchester following the terror attacks in Manchester. Fray took to twitter to write:

“Togetherness, community and spirit course through the veins and flood the streets of this city,” wrote Fray. “I see it every day since I’ve been old enough to release what compassion and empathy are. Last night we witnessed it at a level we thought we’d never have to. In tragic circumstances, Manchester stood together. Because that’s what we do. Homes offered, rides home given, an outpouring of live…Grief shared.” and added: “This will hurt. For a long time. But as you walk around town try not to bow your head. Look up to the skies.

Liam Gallagher tweeted: "In total shock and absolutely devastated about what's gone down in MANCHESTER sending Love and Light to all the family's involved LG x ".
 
Another Manchester legend, Johnny Marr also took to twitter to write: "Manchester stands together.'
 
Also the legendary band from Liverpool led by Ian McCulloch; Echo and the Bunnymen shared a photo of Manchester on Twitter and wrote the message: "No Words Needed".
