Gorillaz long awaited fifth album is set to be released next year, according to collaborator and comic book artist Jamie Hewlett.
The album was previously reported to be released later this year (2016) but according to Hewlett, the record won't be out until 2017.
Hewlett provided the update to Gorillaz fan page GorillazNorthAmerica, stating that the "really fuckin special" album "can't be rushed".
