KulBritania - Exclusive | The Libertines: "We have got new songs"

In an exclusive interview with Carl Barat of The Libertines, he talked to us about the likelihood of a new Libertines record.

When asked about writing new songs and releasing a new record after their third studio album 'Anthems For Doomed Youth' was released last year, co-frontman Barat said:

"We have started playing new songs but we haven't recorded them yet. Sometimes you play little things and then you sometimes record those songs. We have got new stuff " However, Barat made it quite clear that he didn't think the band would record them soon at least not this year. "I don't think we'll record them until next year as we have other things going on at the same time."
