In statements to NME, Albarn talked about his first meeting with Mr. Tembo and described it as a “beautiful little fella”. He also commented that when he stopped playing the song in his ukulele, the elephant “backed away and shat himself”.
In other news, Albarn announced last month that he would start working on Gorillaz new album in September. He explained he couldn’t start sooner saying: "I've just been really, really busy so I haven't had a chance. I'd love to just get back in to that routine of being at home and coming to the studio five days a week."
