Blur's frontman, Damon Albarn has talked about the next Gorillaz album in a new interview with BBC Radio 6 Music.
Gorillaz last released a full-length in 2011 with 'The Fall'. Their untitled fifth record has been tipped to be released in 2017.
Now Damon Albarn has confirmed that the duo will reconvene shortly.
"Later in the year we’ll be starting to get the whole Gorillaz thing together," he said and added "I'm loving it and it's getting there. It should be ready fairly soon."
Albarn's bandmate Hewlett recently described the upcoming album as "really fuckin' special" and said that it "can't be rushed".
