Liam Gallagher has spoken out about his love for The Stone Roses a few times and what they meant to him when he was growing up in Manchester.

Liam Gallagher also loves Ian Brown's solo stuff and he has just revealed that his favourite Ian Brown's tune is; King Monkey's first solo single 'My Star'

Asked by a follower on Twitter what his favourite Smiths track was, Liam Gallagher quicly replied: "There is a Light That Never Goes Out' certainly an anthemic tune by one of Manchester's finest. 

Then Liam Gallagher also revealed what his favourite Furs tune was. Much to my surprise really. Didn't know he was a fan of the iconic new wave band. This time Liam Gallagher did not pick one of their hit singles but a track taken from their self titled debut album. The title of the song: 'Pulse' and you can hear it below.
