Gibson Brands Is Providing Gibson and Epiphone Guitars, Neat Microphones and KRK Equipment In Support Of The Abbey Road Institutes Across Europe

Abbey Road Institute, the educational arm of the world-famous recording studios has announced a partnership with internationally renowned manufacturer Gibson Brands.

Under the terms of the mutually supportive relationship, Gibson and Epiphone Guitars, NEAT Microphones and KRK studio equipment have all been supplied to support education at the Abbey Road Institutes across Europe.

Luca Barassi, Managing Director of the original Abbey Road Institute in London, comments: "We're honoured to be working with a manufacturer of Gibson Brands’ quality and standing, and are delighted that our students are having the opportunity to use the very best instruments around. Not surprisingly, the Gibson Brands products are already extremely popular amongst our students, here in London and at our growing list of Institutes overseas."

Giulio Rusconi, a student at the London Abbey Road Institute, comments: "As a guitarist, I always use a guitar riff as a starting point when composing, and having these wonderful Gibson Brands products in our school is simply the best way for me to develop my ideas. Even my classmates, who mostly play different instruments, are making amazing tunes with them!"

“Gibson Brands is dedicated to developing and supporting programs that offer students the opportunity to further their musical education and skills,” commented Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman/CEO of Gibson Brands. “Our commitment to quality extends to all musicians, and we are pleased to be able to support Abbey Road Institute students in their aspirations of pursuing careers in the music industry.”

The Abbey Road Institute was launched in London in March 2015 to prepare students for careers in the music industry, operating from purpose-built, newly constructed studio facilities at the world-famous Abbey Road site in northwest London. The Institute offers vocationally orientated courses with a mix of theoretical and practical modules in audio engineering and production, studio management, music business administration and musical theory. The first intake of students was in September 2015, on a 12-month course which leads to an advanced diploma in music production and sound engineering. Further institutes in Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt and Melbourne are already open, and further sites in Sydney and Amsterdam are due to follow later this year.

There are currently five institutes- London, Berlin, Munich, Melbourne and Sydney with more planned.

Abbey Road Institute London has dedicated studio facilities located within Abbey Road Studios. Students have access to both teaching and commercial studios during various stages of their programme whether attending the London Institute or other locations.
